A 2020 Virtual Event
Bellevue College Theatre Arts Department of Drama and Dance invites you to join us in supporting the productions of our student performing artists. We do not want our students to stop learning and growing during these challenging times, so shortly we will begin producing plays virtually, dancing outdoors and streaming performances for free. And when we are all back in the theatre, we will have sets, costumes and lights, so your financial support now is more important than ever.

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?
- Run/Walk any time between Sept. 12 – 27
- Choose your own starting line and a route that is either 5K or 10K long.
- Outside or on a treadmill.
- Walk/Run all at once or in segments.
- As rigorous or as gentle as you wish
- Record your distance and time
- Use your phone, Fitbit or any running/smart watch
- OR just record how far you ran and how fast (If you wish.)
- Post your results on our Facebook Page
- Run/Walk in costume! Run/Walk with socially-distanced friends! Run/Walk for Drama Students
- Shout outs for costumes and other fun stuff.
- A Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you!
WHAT IS OUR DANCE-A-THON?
- Learn TEN line dances any time between Sept. 12-27.
- All ten line dances are approximately 30 sec each and will increase in difficulty from novice to intermediate and can be done by anyone.
- The link to the dances will be emailed to you on Sept. 12 (or after you register after Sept. 12.)
- Line Dances performed and broken down by members of BCDC (Bellevue College Dance Company.)
- Record yourself dancing.
- Just doing this is the aim- have fun!
- Post on the Theater Arts FB page
- OR email your recording to laura.peterson@bellevuecollege.edu
- Dance in costume! Dance alone or with socially- distanced friends! Dance for Dance Students!
- Shout outs for costumes and innovative dance spaces.
