Stanley Yelnats has been unjustly sent to Camp Green Lake,
a detention center where the boys build character by digging
holes.  Soon Stanley realizes there’s more than character
improvement going on.  The warden and her minions are looking
for something under the dried-up lake. Past and present, myth
and history collide as Stanley digs up the truth  in this inventive
and darkly humorous tale of crime, punishment and redemption.

Set in the roaring 20’s, the jazz-hot musical Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart who is sent to prison for killing her lover and Velma Kelly, a big time vaudeville start with twice as much blood on her hands.  They vie for the support of prison matron Mama Morton and slickster lawyer Billy Flynn, who, with journalist Mary Sunshine turn crime and punishment into a media frenzy.
