The Dance department at Bellevue College offers courses in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Tap\u202fTechnique.\u202fThe program is designed to engage beginners, progressing continuing students, and support advanced-level dancers. All\u202fclasses may be taken for either Dance credit. Proficiency attained in these classes enables students to adapt to diverse choreographic styles and ultimately enhance their personal artistic exploration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to the dance technique courses, the program includes a new lecture\/lab course DANCE 100 \u2013 Understanding Dance, and the resident dance company, BC\/DC (Bellevue College Dance Company). Students interested in joining the dance ensemble, DANCE 201, can contact the Director, Kirsten Kinney, for more information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All LEVEL I classes may be taken by students with no previous dance training, as well as students who are continuing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
LEVEL II classes include those who have completed the BC LEVEL I class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
