{"id":2952,"date":"2026-10-22T13:46:02","date_gmt":"2026-10-22T20:46:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/trustees\/?post_type=resolution&#038;p=2952"},"modified":"2026-10-22T14:13:25","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T21:13:25","slug":"302","status":"publish","type":"resolution","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/trustees\/resolutions\/302\/","title":{"rendered":"302: President Vacation Leave"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resolution No. 302<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><strong>Whereas<\/strong><\/a>, the Board of Trustees of Bellevue College District VIII is authorized by RCW 43.01.042 to prescribe such rules and regulations as they may determine governing vacation leave for academic and professional personnel; and<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><strong>Whereas<\/strong><\/a>, the Board wishes to authorize the current interim president to cash-out up to 25 days of vacation leave per complete fiscal year of employment prior to the termination or expiration of employment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Now, therefore<\/strong>, pursuant to RCW 43.01.042, the Board of Trustees (\u201cBoard\u201d) hereby authorizes the current interim president to cash-out accrued vacation leave for each fiscal year (2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23) of full employment by the College.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This authorization shall be effective when approved by the Board, but shall not be construed as authorizing any subsequent president, academic or professional personnel to exercise the same, except to the extent permitted by law or subsequent action of the Board.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Approved and adopted: August 25, 2022<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper alignstandard\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">Merisa Heu-Weller, Chair<br>Board of Trustees<br>Bellevue College District VIII<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":true,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-2952","resolution","type-resolution","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/trustees\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/resolution\/2952","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/trustees\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/resolution"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/trustees\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/resolution"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/trustees\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2952"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
