The program is divided into two components: four quarters of full-time study in the classroom and lab and four quarters of full-time clinical education. Before entering the clinical education component, each student must successfully complete all classes in the didactic program with a \u201cC\u201d or better.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program offers four distinct curricular tracks: adult cardiac, vascular, general (which includes the abdomen-extended and OB\/GYN concentrations) and the multi track (which includes abdomen-extended, OB\/GYN and vascular). Students declare their interest in one of the first three listed tracks upon admission to the program. This choice determines the classroom and lab courses required during the didactic portion of the program, and it shapes the placements during the clinical phase of the program:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The adult cardiac track is structured in accordance with the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jrcdms.org\/pdf\/DMSStandards9-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jrcdms.org\/pdf\/DMSStandards9-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Diagnostic Medical Sonography<\/a> for the adult cardiac concentration and prepares students to take the Adult Echocardiography (AE) exam offered by the ARDMS and earn the Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (<strong>RDCS<\/strong>) credential.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The vascular track is structured to prepare students to take the ARDMS Vascular Technology exam and earn the Registered Vascular Technology (<strong>RVT<\/strong>) credential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The general track is structured to prepare students to take two ARDMS specialty exams, Abdomen-Extended (AB) and Obstetrics &amp;
