Guided Meditation

Feeling stressed/information overload?  Try meditation!  Meditation promotes a sense of peace, calm and balance.  Don’t let the thought of ‘meditating the right way’ hold you back; there is no right or wrong way to practice.  Join Penelope Benis for a short, guided (10-20 minute) meditation designed and accessible for all levels of experience.

Quick Cardio Burst    

Join us for a 30-minute cardio workout to give your heart a boost and loosen up after your day. We will be moving and grooving for a quick full body workout. No experience necessary and modifications provided. The goal is to bring your heart rate up, break a sweat and put a smile on your face. 

No required equipment besides a water bottle;

Optional equipment: workout mat, step or something solid to step up on, and a jump rope.

Xpress Fitness with Michelle McRae            

Join BC Fitness Center Instructor Michelle McRae for this 40 minute group training session. Participants will join a regularly scheduled Zoom meeting hosted by Michelle. You will work through various body weight and simple equipment exercises that you can do from home. No registration or experience necessary. Please Zoom in and get moving!

Here are some supplies that would be useful for our class: a chair that can help you balance, small weights or household items such as filled water bottles or cans of food that give weight challenge, resistance bands for legs, stretch cords for upper body, mat for floor work, non-slip socks or shoes. It would be helpful to have supplies ready to go at the start of our sessions.

Optional resources if you want to buy equipment:

  • Resistance Loop Bands: Example KEVENZ Resistance Loop Exercise Bands
  • Stretch Cords with handles (suggest strap handles vs hard plastic) : Example RitFit Single Resistance Exercise Band with Comfortable Handles
