Ray served 20 years in St Louis secondary education, the eight final years as High School Principal before coming to Bellevue College in 2000. He also have coached High School and Intercollegiate Soccer for 35 years. He served as BC professor, Women’s Soccer Coach, HPE Chair, HPM Chair, Interim Dean of HSEWI, Assistant Dean of HSEWI, Director and Founder of BC Employee Wellness Center and Student Wellness Center and served as Executive Council member BCAHE for 15 years. He was awarded as one of the “50 most influential innovators in the history of Bellevue College” in 2017.

He spends his free time playing soccer, surfing, windsurfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, bike touring and fly fishing in the NW. He resides in the Cascade Mountains near North Bend with wife, two happy labs and the occasional visit from our 25 year old son.

Ray received his BAS in Health and Physical Education, Southeast Missouri State University, MAS in Educational Processes Maryville University, and EdS Educational Specialist University of New Mexico
