The Bellevue College XR Lab works with all three of these technologies, and currently focuses primarily on using virtual reality. Additionally the XR Lab includes many immersive interactive flat screen experiences, selected AI tools, and gamification under the XR umbrella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Augmented reality<\/strong>&nbsp;(<strong>AR<\/strong>) is an immersive experience that combines the real world and computer-generated content. It is especially useful for healthcare education, and AR can be viewed within headsets or by using other technologies such as mobile devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Virtual reality<\/strong>&nbsp;(<strong>VR<\/strong>) typically utilizes a headset to provide an immersive virtual experience.
