She is fascinated by the \u201cdual nature\u201d of XR technology: its ability to create unprecedented things with boundless imagination, and its power to break the constraints of time and space, perfectly recreating the existing world. She looks forward to a day when these concepts are used to develop immersive virtual tours, making every corner of the world accessible to everyone in a digital format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a student assistant at the XR Lab, Yiyuan is responsible for daily operations, including event coordination, hardware maintenance. She is passionate about guiding new students in experiencing virtual reality, translating complex technical setups into simple, easy-to-understand steps, helping them easily enter the immersive virtual world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yiyuan is from China and is dedicated to finding a balance between the digital and real worlds. Outside of the lab, she is a kayaking enthusiast who enjoys paddling on Lake Washington, finding inspiration in the process. She is also a passionate table tennis player. Her favorite movie is the 2001 film \u201cA.I.
