Honoring Bulldogs Who Inspire Excellence and Empower Change
As we celebrate Bellevue College’s 60th Anniversary, we are proud to introduce the Bellevue College Distinguished Alumni Award—a new recognition honoring extraordinary graduates who embody the spirit, values, and impact of our BC community.
This award celebrates alumni whose achievements, leadership, innovation, and service have made a meaningful difference—locally, regionally, or globally. By uplifting their stories, we honor BC’s legacy and inspire future generations of Bulldogs to dream big, lead with integrity, and create positive change.
Nominations are now open, and we invite you to help us recognize the remarkable alumni who represent the very best of Bellevue College.
Eligibility
Nominees must have completed a Bellevue College degree, certificate, or official credential and demonstrate distinction in one or more of the following areas:
Professional Achievement & Innovation
Exceptional accomplishment or leadership in their field, marked by creativity or innovative approaches that advance solutions and drive positive change.
Community Engagement & Impact
Meaningful and lasting contributions to the well-being of others through advocacy, service, mentorship, or collaborative efforts that strengthen communities.
Integrity & Authenticity
Consistent demonstration of ethical leadership, humility, and authenticity in both personal and professional endeavors.
Inspiration & Lifelong Learning
A commitment to curiosity, resilience, growth, and empowering others—as a mentor, leader, or role model.
Please note: Nominees must be able to accept this award in person at the 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee on April 18, 2026.
Who Can Nominate?
Nominations may be submitted by:
- Alumni
- Faculty and staff
- Students
- Community members
- Employers, organizations, and companies
- Self-nominations are welcome
What to Include in Your Nomination
Each nomination should include:
- Nominee name, contact information, and Bellevue College credential
- A narrative describing the nominee’s achievements and the positive influence they have had
- Optional supporting materials (articles, testimonials, recommendations, links, etc.)
- Descriptive or measurable examples illustrating the nominee’s impact (recommended but not required)
Nomination Deadline
**All nominations must be submitted by Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Finalists will be notified in March 2026, and the recipient will be honored at the 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee on April 18, 2026.
