Purpose

Bellevue College’s printing services is a full-service facility offering assistance in graphic design, printing and duplicating for the college community. Departments needing these services must request them through the printing services department following these procedures. If the services needed are not available in printing services or cannot be performed satisfactorily within the timeframe the originating department specifies, printing services will then use outside vendors to provide the services.

Procedures

To receive services, faculty and staff must submit a completed work request form. For duplicating jobs, the work request and document originals may be submitted in either hard copy or electronic format.

Upon receipt of all required information, printing services will perform the work according to its published job completion times, or according to the project timeline mutually agreed upon with the customer.

Some work may require approval of a proof. The faculty or staff member submitting the work request will review the proof and “reject”, “approve with noted changes” or “approve as is”. Delay in reviewing the proof may delay the completion date previously agreed upon.

Charges for completed work will be recharged to the department budget through the finance office. Off-campus customers will pay upon receipt of the finished product unless they have made prior arrangements to pay by college invoice.

Complete information on available services may be obtained from printing services.
