About Caroline
Dr. Caroline (Carol) Whittaker, a native of Oklahoma, serves as a Senior Adjunct Professor in the Social Science Division at Bellevue College, where she has taught since January 2011. She instructs business management-related courses and is deeply passionate about teaching, valuing opportunities to learn from her students and support both their success and that of her colleagues. Dr. Whittaker has participated in several campus committees, facilitated workshops, and currently serves on the Executive Council of the Bellevue College Association of Higher Education (BCAHE). Her previous roles include Chair of the Faculty Assessment Coordinating Team (FACT) and co-director of Faculty Commons. Dr. Whittaker is dedicated to fostering a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus community.
She holds an MBA in Financial Management and a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership. Dr. Whittaker’s experience spans human resource management, business management, organizational leadership, and diversity and equity initiatives.
Outside of work, Carol enjoys an active lifestyle that involves writing, spending quality time with family, running or jogging, cycling, hiking, camping, photography, horseback riding, and relaxing with a good book.
