About Dellyssa

Dellyssa Edinboro (she/her/hers) is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Cultural and Ethnic Studies Department. She received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts (with Honors) from the Borough of Manhattan Community College and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Humanities and Justice with History and Philosophy Minors (summa cum laude) from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. At the University of Iowa, she earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies (Schools, Culture, and Society) and graduate certificates in Public Digital Humanities and Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies. At BC, she has served on several committees, including the Curriculum Advisory Committee (CAC), participated as a panelist for sessions during BC Professional Development days, worked as the Culturally Responsive Practices Lead for the Faculty Commons, and completed and facilitated various professional development workshops with the Faculty Commons.
