BAS Applied Accounting Program Structure
The BAS Applied Accounting is a selective admissions program with annual admissions each Fall. The BAS courses move in a required cohort sequence and students are expected to maintain enrollment in specific classes each quarter to progress through the program. BAS Applied Accounting courses are only offered once per year in prerequisite order, so following the current Course Map is essential for success.
The BAS program emphasizes in-person evening classes. Some courses may be offered online. Please check the class schedule to view class offerings/times.
Full-time or part-time study options are available. Part-time students are required to complete 10 credits of core ACCT courses each quarter to remain enrolled in the program. Students falling below 10 credits pre quarter will not progress through the program.
Seats in the program are reserved for students who intend to finish the full BAS degree. Students should not apply for BAS admission if they only intend to take a few courses for CPA test preparation.
Successful applicants are expected to meet all entry requirements prior to starting their Fall quarter. Contingent admissions may be offered to applicants who are finishing prerequisite courses. We welcome students to apply if all prerequisites will be successfully completed by the Summer quarter prior to Fall admission.
