About Me

Caroline (Carol) Whittaker is a Senior Adjunct Professor in the Business and Technology division, where she has been since 2011. Carol maintains a passion for teaching and greatly values the opportunity of learning from her students and advocating their success as well as her colleagues. Carol has served on several committees across the Bellevue College (BC) campus, facilitated workshops, and is a current Executive Council Member of Bellevue College Association of Higher Education (BCAHE); past Chair of the Faculty Assessment Coordinating Team (FACT); former co-director of Faculty Commons. Carol has facilitated workshops and is devoted to contributing to the work of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus.

Carol holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management and Doctor of Business Administration Degree with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. Carol also maintains a background as well as experience in human resource management, business management, organizational leadership, and diversity and equity efforts.

Hobbies

  • Carol’s active lifestyle includes writing, spending precious time with family, running(jogging), cycling, embracing and exploring the beauty of nature that encompasses hiking, camping, and photography; horseback riding, and quiet time with a good book read
