IT Business Operations

IT Business Operations (ITBO) manages IT assets for the college with respect to their financial, contractual, and inventorial aspects. ITBO maximizes benefits while minimizing the risks of the college’s IT assets. As part of this, ITBO manages hardware and software requests before they go to the Purchasing department. ITBO will research, recommend, initiate a purchase, receive, and then initiate asset management for end-point devices, software, services and IT infrastructure projects. (End-point equipment is defined as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers and various technology directly used by faculty, staff, or students.) Additionally, ITBO reports on ITS budgets and works closely with ITS Directors to ensure that the budgets are sustainable.
