On June 18, we hosted the NWXR Project Showcase at Bellevue College, featuring student projects from the XR Development & Client Collaboration course, along with works-in-progress from faculty funded by NWXR’s mini grant program. The event brought together students, faculty, industry professionals, and members of the XR Lab for an inspiring afternoon of presentations, feedback, and discussion around immersive learning tools.
The showcase highlighted a diverse range of XR projects that were developed over six months of hands-on work, collaboration with clients, and iteration based on user feedback. After the showcase, students brought their prototypes to the campus-wide Making Learning Visible event, where other students and faculty had the chance to explore and test the experiences themselves.
Each project is now available as an open educational resource (OER), complete with trailers, development documentation, process insights, and GitHub links—so others can explore, reuse, or build on the work. View the OER Projects and Videos

We’re proud of the creativity and dedication these students brought to their projects, and grateful to everyone who participated and supported the showcase. Special thanks to the Pacific Northwest Open Extended Reality Initiative for supporting this event and helping make these open resources possible.
