Policy
The Bellevue College board of trustees has authorized the registrar to collect an administrative fee when a student adds or drops course(s) or withdraws from the college. In addition, the registrar is authorized to refund fees when a student withdraws from the college or course(s) according to state statute and to determine a pro-rated refund for courses with varying start and end dates. The registrar also has the authority to make judgments regarding refunds for students who withdraw for medical reasons and for students who are called into the military service of the United States. A student who is requested to withdraw for disciplinary reasons will not be eligible for a refund.
The Bellevue College board of trustees has authorized the registrar to refund fees to the appropriate federal account(s), in concurrence with rules governing financial assistance from the federal government, for students receiving federal Title IV assistance in the amounts mandated by current federal regulation when the student withdraws, or the college withdraws the student, from the college or a course(s).
