My name is Salam Awad and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Bellevue College. My research and teaching interests include international relations, post colonial studies, the Middle East, social movements, refugees and human rights. I am an avid reader, art enthusiast, and lover of history. My courses typically focus on critical applications of politics and provide new perspectives to help students critically analyze wider global issues.
