Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, Tacoma and a master’s degree in Psychological Sciences from Northern Arizona University. She has conducted both quantitative and qualitative research examining psychological and social factors that influence our responses to stress, and applied research on cognition and decision-making following stressful experiences. In the classroom, Jennifer aims to continuously explore the best evidence-based teaching practices for her students that aid their comprehension and application of psychology, particularly to their personal and professional lives. Jennifer’s teaching interests include General Psychology, Introduction to Physiological Psychology, and Fundamentals of Psychological Research.
