The RISE Learning Institute and the Office of Sustainability have been working on crocheting plastic bags into bed rolls for people experiencing homelessness. Example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuIL28AppKw
To further this ongoing project, we need MORE plastic bags! Bags should be clean and mostly free of tears and rips.
Please donate your plastic bags until April 16th, 2018 in the following locations:
- Bulldog White Food Pantry Bins (all across campus)
- The RISE Learning Institute Maker Space
- Student Central, 2nd floor (B Building)
- 1st floor of Student Union, north entrance (next to magazines)
- 1st floor of Student Union, east entrance (main entrance)
