Woodland Boulevard

WOODLAND BOULEVARD BANNER

Welcome to the Woodland Boulevard, the longest and most difficult path within the arboretum. This walk traverses between the U building and the N building on a largely paved walkway, but does have some steep slopes and uneven terrain. A suggested route starts in parking lot 4 and travels downhill offering a pleasant stroll under some of the campus’s largest, most majestic trees. While meandering down the path, see how many different ecological niches you can find. Take a moment to pause and stare up into the bows of the Big Leaf Maple. What do you notice about how the branches interact with each other? Take a deep breath and enjoy your outing.

The Office of Sustainability would like to thank Snohomish tribal elder Pamela SeaMonster for providing Lushootseed translations for native plant species, with funding provided by the Bellevue College Student Environmental Sustainability Fund.
