Bee Keeping Club

The mission of the Bellevue College Beekeeping Society is to educate the students, faculty, and staff of Bellevue College about the importance of the honeybee. To encourage lifestyle changes conducive to the preservation of the honeybee and engagement in honeybee culture. The club is dedicated to teaching students, faculty, and staff the art and science of beekeeping in the hopes that those participating will have the skills to set up hives of their own in the future to help combat Colony Collapse Disorder. The club has many goals for promoting pollinator education in the coming years.
