We offer tutoring for students currently enrolled in classes at Bellevue College. Our goal is to give you the tools to complete your coursework independently and successfully.
Drop-in tutoring is an option for ALL students enrolled in classes at BC (regardless of your current grade)! BTS, English/Writing and Math tutoring are available starting the first day of the quarter and all other subjects begin the second week. Qualified tutors are available to help you with questions. Be sure to check our complete Drop-In Tutoring Schedules in the Academic Success Center (D204).
Online tutoring is available to all BC students! Visit our e-tutoring homepage and follow the login prompt. Available schedules and information will be listed on their website.
If you have any trouble with the login, please call 425-564-2200 or visit the Academic Success Center front desk. We will be happy to set up your profile. Online tutoring is available even during our quarter breaks and closures.
Subjects offered for online tutoring include Accounting, Anatomy and Physiology, ASL, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Math, Microsoft Office (BTS classes), Physics, Psychology, Spanish, Statistics (math 130 and BA 240), Web Development (Programming), and an online Writing Lab.
If you are earning a C or below in your class AND have the permission of your instructor, you may be eligible for up to 2 hours of individual tutoring per week.
We offer workshops throughout the quarter that focus on study skills, reading strategies, and writing techniques. All are welcome! NEW – starting in January of 2018, we will be hosting Success in Math Workshops. It’s an opportunity to develop confidence and study strategies in math. Plus, a little math practice!
We are always looking for people to share their knowledge and talent as a tutor. We accept application all through the year, although hiring is done when we have a specific need. If you have any questions about employment, please feel free to stop by the ASC. We will be happy to walk you through the process!
The ASC (D204) has select textbooks, solution manuals, graphing calculators and headphones that may be borrowed and used in the ASC with a BC student I.D. card. The ASC also has charging stations for phones, laptops, calculators, etc. Select cables available for charging devices.
This is a great site to learn about all things Math, Science and Finance.
