Career assessments help you explore how your interests and strengths match different college majors and career paths. If you are an undecided or undeclared major student, this is a great opportunity to learn more about careers!

Career Assessments We Offer

Sensors: are realistic people who like to focus on the facts and details. They apply common sense and past experience to find practical solutions to problems. Thinkers: tend to make their decisions using logical analysis, objectively weigh pros and cons, and value honesty, consistency, and fairness. Judgers: tend to be organized and prepared, like to make and stick to plans, and are comfortable following most rules. Introverts: often like working alone or in small groups, prefer a more deliberate pace, and like to focus on. Intuitives: prefer to focus on possibilities and the big picture, easily see patterns, value innovation, and seek. Feelers: tend to be sensitive and cooperative, and decide based on their own personal values and how others will. Perceivers: prefer to keep their options open, like to be able to act spontaneously, and like to be flexible with.

Strong Interest Inventory

The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) is an interest assessment that can help you identify career fields and jobs of interest to you. We can work with you to discuss your interests and how they connect to potential majors, jobs, and career paths.


Make an appointment with a Career Specialist to learn more and determine if an assessment is right for you. If it is, we will send you the online assessment(s) and make a plan to discuss the results with you.
