I began teaching at BC in 2011. I primarily teach biology majors and environmental science field and laboratory courses. I incorporate research experiences and ample fieldwork into my courses to engage and involve students in science. I particularly enjoy teaching evolution, ecology and zoology. I received my B.S. in Biology from Western Washington University and a M.S. in Entomology from Oregon State University. I have been known to culture live insects and other critters in my office. I enjoy hunting for bugs, looking for plants and watching birds.
