Leslie Lum has extensive industry experience including strategic planning at a Fortune 100 now part of Citigroup, investment banking with the global bank HSBC, and general management of a retail start-up. She was a manager in a department chosen as one of the ten best in America by the Institute of Internal Auditors. She has been on the board of the UW Foster School Consulting and Business Development Center for the past 15 years working with scores of minority- and women-owned enterprises and her course on multicultural consulting won a national award in community engagement. Leslie authored the textbook Personal Investing and coauthored Business Consulting in a Multicultural America. She has a MBA from Columbia University and a MSW in social work from the University of British Columbia. She was selected for the 2016 Lockwood Award for Faculty Excellence and Innovation.
