
Bellevue College’s Multicultural Services is excited to celebrate Women’s History Month with you all, honoring the incredible lives and legacies of women throughout time.
Join one, some, or all of the events as we recognize the theme “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations”.
- Laboring for Change: A Maternal Health Discussion on Thursday, March 13th from 2pm-4pm in U208/209. We bring an event discussing maternal health. There will be a film screening of Birthing Justice , discussion, and takeaway resources. The event is sponsored by Health Promotion & Education, Healthy Campus Project, and Umoja Scholars Program. Refreshments will be served.
- Sisterhood Unleashed– Multicultural Services brings Pamela Oakes, Founder of Profitable Nonprofits. She is going to do a workshop, Sisterhood Unleashed- The Transformative Power of Solidarity, on March 19th, 2:00-3:00 in A265.
- Black Entrepreneur Series with Veronica Very- Join for an hour of power and empowerment with Veronica Very, CEO of Women of Wonder as she presents on the WHM theme “ Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations”. The event will be held on Thursday, March 20th from 12:30pm-1:30pm in U 313 and is brought to you by the Angie Kulenduka- Black Students Affinity Coordinator, and Women Empowerment Network Against Violence (WENAV). Meal will be provided during the lunch hour.
- Barbie: The Movie Film Screening – Wind down after Finals Week and enjoy a film screening of Barbie: The Movie, popcorn, and arts & crafts with the LGBTQ+ Resource Center and Multicultural Services on Thursday, March 27th from 2PM-5PM in the Multicultural Center (C204) to honor the end of Women’s History Month.
