The LGBTQ+ Resource Center is excited to announce our 2025 Bellevue College Pride Fest and Lavender Graduation! We can’t wait to spend the day with all of you, celebrating the joy, power, and brilliance of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community at Bellevue College and beyond!

This year, we’ve made the decision to combine these two signature events into one big, exciting gathering for the Bellevue College campus community, to uplift and celebrate all of our amazing queer and transgender students, faculty, and staff.

Pride Fest Main Stage Schedule

11:00AM-12:00PM

  • “Pride & Pedagogy” LGBTQ+ Faculty Panel with Molly Jae Vaughan, Natalie Martinez, and Mark Mappala

12:00PM-1:00PM

  • Lavender Graduation Ceremony
  • Keynote Performance with Isabella L. Richards

1:00PM-2:00PM

  • Drag Queen Story Hour with Maya Mem Saab

In addition to our main stage events, Pride Fest will feature a variety of other ongoing activities, including:

  • Free Food Trucks!
  • Henna Artists, Glitter Tattoos, and Face Painting
  • Screen Printing with Molly Jae Vaughan
  • Rock Painting and Bead Bracelet making
  • Unicorn Rubber Duck catching
  • T-Shirt Tie-Dye stations
  • On-Campus and Community-Based Resources

Lavender Graduation Info

Lavender Graduation will be taking place on the Pride Fest Main Stage this year from 12:00PM to 1:00PM to celebrate all of the 2SLGBTQIA+ and Allied students who have graduated or will be graduating/transferring from Bellevue College this academic year (Fall 2024-Summer 2025).

Registration is no longer required to participate!

Any graduating or transferring student who wishes to participate in the ceremony should check-in at the LGBTQ+ Resource Center’s Pride Fest table by 11:50am to join the list to be recognized and given a lavender honor cord on stage.

Any graduating/transferring students unable to attend Pride Fest who are interested in receiving a lavender honor cord can visit the LGBTQ+ Resource Center in S-201 any time prior to Commencement to pick one up!

Anyone with questions about this year’s Pride Fest and Lavender Graduation celebrations is encouraged to reach out to lgbtq@bellevuecollege.edu or visit the LGBTQ+ Resource Center, located in S-201. We are currently open 9AM-5PM on Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, and 11AM-3PM on Wed.
