Winter Quarter: Information and Application Form
Update: December 29: The laptop loan program is now closed for winter quarter. If additional laptops become available, we will notify the campus community via email and canvas announcement.
In response to the college moving all classes and services online due to the COVID-19 heath crisis, the Bellevue College Associated Student Government (ASG) donated $100,000 for the purchase of 200 laptop computers to be loaned to students who need them to access classes and campus services.
In collaboration with Academic Affairs, ITS (Information Technology Services), Library Services and Student Affairs, the ASG Laptop Loan program is available for students registered for classes in the quarter they wish to receive a laptop. Laptops are available for loan on a first come, first served basis.

How am I notified if I am approved to receive a laptop?
Once you submit the application, the college notifies you using your BC email address. If approved, the email contains instructions about your next steps and how you receive the laptop.
How do I receive the laptop if approved?
Details regarding the pickup of the laptops are emailed to all eligible students. The college will schedule a safe, no-contact appointment time to pick up the devise on campus.
Laptops cannot be mailed to students. The college practices a safe, no contact place for you to receive the laptop. Masks are required to pick up the laptop and students must complete an online health questionaire prior to coming to campus. Additional instructions are provided if approved for a laptop.
I received a loaner laptop for a prior quarter, can I extend the agreement and keep the laptop for the upcoming quarter?
Yes! Prior to the end of the quarter, we provide you with an extension form so that you can keep the laptop you have for the upcoming quarter. Note: you must be registered for the next quarter before an extension is approved.
How do I return a laptop that was loaned to me?
- Make an appointment to drop off the device with Bellevue College
- Call the Service Desk (425) 564-4357) or email at firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.
- The IT Service desk is available on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for appointments to return the laptops.
