Guaranteed Ride Home

Did you take public transit, carpool, or ride your bike today and need to leave campus due to an illness or an emergency? Are you a Bellevue College employee?

Bellevue College will arrange a taxi ride home to a qualified employee who has an emergency and who has used an alternative mode of transportation that day.

• To initiate an emergency ride home, please contact Public Safety at x2400
• The Public Safety Office will determine if the emergency is in accordance with the Guaranteed Ride Home criteria.
  • Qualifying reasons to use this program are as follows:
    • Personal illness
    • Illness of your child or dependent
    • Family emergency
    • Unanticipated need to work late for bus riders, when transit is unavailable or runs infrequently.

This program is available to all Bellevue College employees and each employee can use this service for a total of 8 times a year.
