September is National Suicide Awareness month.

The majority of adults (94%) in the U.S. believe that suicide can be prevented, at least some of the time, and 96% of adults in the U.S. would take action if someone close to them was thinking about suicide, according to the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention. The Action Alliance works with different organizations and community partners to educate the public and provide support for anyone who is struggling or in crisis.

If you or someone you know is experiencing an immediate crisis or medical emergency, please dial 911 for assistance.
