Parking Fine Schedule
Bellevue College issues citations to ensure an open, safe and accessible learning and working environment. The fine schedule is determined in accordance with regional standards and to assure compliance.

Impounding and Towing
In the event that a vehicle has violated the rules defined in Bellevue College Policy 6200 and Procedure 6200P, the Public Safety Department is fully authorized to take immediate action. Under certain circumstances, Bellevue College Public Safety Department is authorized to tow and impound vehicles in violation of Federal, State, or City laws or Policy 6200.
Bellevue College shall not be liable for loss or damage of any kind resulting from impound, transportation, or storage. All related expenses are the sole responsibility of the vehicle’s owner or operator.
Violations warranting immediate impound include but are not limited to one or more of the following:
- Blocking a roadway so as to impede the flow of traffic
- Blocking a walkway so as to impede the flow of pedestrian traffic
- Blocking a fire hydrant or fire lane
- Blocking another legally parked vehicle
- Parking in a marked “Tow Away” zone
- Creating a safety hazard in the opinion of a Public Safety officer
Impound Warning Recipients & Abandoned and/or Unattended Vehicles
The Public Safety Department will place one (1) impound warning upon any vehicles which have accumulated three (3) or more citations. After forty-eight (48) hours have passed since an impound warning was placed on any given vehicle, Public Safety has the authority to contact the towing company under contract to service the campus to immediately tow and impound the vehicle. Only the Director of the Public Safety Department has the authority to forcibly tow and/or impound vehicles on Bellevue College property.
