RISE for the Community

Why RISE?

The RISE Learning Institute champions community engagement and enrichment by fostering partnerships with non-profit organizations, business and trade groups, government agencies, and other schools. RISE ensures students become immersed in real-world learning experiences that deepen their understanding of academic subjects, make a positive impact on the community, and forge new ties with community members and organizations. In return, the community benefits from the innovative solutions, volunteer support, and energy that students bring.

Collaborating with RISE

RISE creates partnerships and initiatives that bridge the gap between academics and the community. We collaborate with research organizations, community partners, and organizations that promote social and economic innovations.

  • Connect with future employees: RISE can help organizations connect with instructors and students in your field and create learning opportunities that can help shape and inform what students learn and the skills students need to be successful.
  • Find Volunteers: RISE can help you find instructors and connect with students who are discussing the issues and challenges that affect your community or organization.
  • Find Research Project Support: RISE helps organizations find BC students for roles supporting research projects.

For more information about partnering with RISE, please email us at service-learning@bellevuecollege.edu.
