Bellevue College’s baseball team is becoming more sustainable. They have already implemented the following in their daily practices: They no longer use of the gas powered tractor for preparing field on daily basis; instead they use of manual labor/hand rakes. This year’s earth week was exciting and tons of fun! We had amazing lectures, vendor booths, a fashion show, and a pledge tree. On month ago, Sustainability at Bellevue college launched our email self-subscription service to make sure students and the Bellevue College community were learning about our efforts to create a more sustainable campus community and opportunities to get involved. The Sustainability Curriculum Subcommittee presented learning outcomes to the Curriculum Advisory Committee on Friday April 13th and to the Instructional Leadership Session on April 18th, 2012.
