Ensuring Your College Success

TRIO Student Support Services (TRIO) at Bellevue College provides individualized support services to students with limited income, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities to assist them with their academic success.  These services include but are not limited to academic advising, personal guidance and support, transfer planning, assistance with financial aid processes, study skills development, and tutoring. The department goal is to promote and sustain strategies that improve student success, retention, and completion. TRIO works to achieve these goals by offering programs, resources and guidance that facilitates the students’ transition to college and that supports their progress through graduation and transfer to bachelor’s degree programs.

TRIO furthers the Bellevue College mission of educational excellence and equal access by providing the following services:

  • Laptop and calculator lending

TRIO is funded entirely through a grant from the US Department of Education in the amount of $284,758 per year.
