Eric Lau

Biography:

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Growing up in Hong Kong we couldn’t see the stars very well because of the lights of the city. I was always interested in astronomy, but I didn’t have much of an opportunity to learn about it until I took astronomy classes as an undergraduate student at Bellevue College. Since those days I have earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering while continuing to help with projects like this online course, and astronomy programming for Bellevue College planetarium. I am constantly working to be as good an instructor as possible by listening to my students’ feedback. I really enjoy teaching. Helping students to learn about astronomy and succeed in my class is always my first priority. I look forward to seeing any of you in my class.
