About Me
As an instructional designer at Bellevue College, I work with faculty to design engaging and durable educational experiences to enhance student learning in all instructional modes (in-person, blended, hybrid, online). With an emphasis on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and taking an ‘accessibility-first’ approach to instructional materials and practices, I collaborate with faculty to ensure that online and hybrid courses consistently meet standards set by the College. In addition to course development, I also serve faculty as a technology consultant and provide comprehensive support for the effective use of educational technology, design strategies, and accessibility using a range of tools such as Canvas LMS, Panopto, Zoom, Teams, CidiLabs, Articulate/Rise 360, and others. Additionally, I research and share findings on best practices for designing digital learning experiences and using instructional technology. Finally, I assist with system administration for e-learning platforms, conferencing software, accessibility tools, desktop publishing, video creation, copyright compliance, and plagiarism review.
