I’m a lifelong software geek who loves exploring both web-based apps and full-featured desktop programs. Since 2007, I’ve taught Business Technology and Information Technology in the SBT division at Bellevue College. Before moving to Washington from Texas, I taught graphic design and electronic imaging, earned a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Arts, ran a couple of coffee shops, managed computer labs at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, and even hosted beach drum circles.

At Bellevue College, I also support faculty and staff with technology through one-on-one help and workshops. Many of my classes are part of the nationally recognized IBEST program, known for accelerating students into college-level and professional/vocational coursework. IBEST classes are team-taught, and my teaching partner, Marie Brissette, and I have led team-teaching workshops for colleges across the state and country.

When I’m not on campus—or tinkering with computers—you’ll usually find me making or listening to music, enjoying science fiction, eating, or sleeping.
