Turnitin (SimCheck)

Turnitin (formerly SimCheck) is an advanced plagiarism detection and feedback tool embedded in Canvas, analyzing student submissions against a vast database of academic content, websites, and peer papers. It provides similarity reports with highlighted matches, plus AI-assisted grading and peer review features. SimCheck promotes academic integrity while offering formative feedback to improve writing skills.

You can enable Turnitin (SimCheck) from your Assignment Settings. Once enabled, you can edit the settings for Turnitin directly inside your Assignment Settings.
