Textbooks can be purchased through our Bellevue College Bookstore. Each purchase directly benefits the Bellevue College campus community through student scholarships to new programs.

Overview

The Bellevue College Bookstore is where to go to find your course textbooks (in print or online), as well as many kinds of other course materials, technology, and supplies. You can even sell your textbooks back at the end of the quarter.

New eBook Platform starting Fall 2025

We’re excited to share important updates from our bookstore about changes to eBooks for Fall Quarter 2025. To enhance the digital learning experience, our bookstore partner, Follett Higher Education, has selected Kortext as its new eBook platform. 

This change applies to eBook materials provided by Follett. If your instructor uses a non-Follett publisher, this may not apply to your course. 

What is Kortext?

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) 

When you purchase an eBook or digital course material from the bookstore or online, you’ll receive:

  • An access code on your receipt
  • An order status email, or
  • A direct login at read.kortext.com

Starting August 26, 2025, the “My Materials” link will replace the Brytewave link in Canvas.

This link shows:

  • Your enrolled courses
  • Required materials
  • Purchase options
  • Access to digital materials you’ve bought or received through an access program 

Note: Depending on your instructor’s course setup, “My Materials” may not appear in the Canvas Student mobile app. 

Any materials you previously purchased on Brytewave will remain accessible for the duration of your license or subscription.
