The Bellevue Bulldogs volleyball team looked to be in control of the Bellevue Crossover Tourney after wins over Centralia (25-11,25-14,25-18) and Clackamas (28-26,24-26,20-25,25-19,15-11) on Friday October 18, and a big win over top-ranked Blue Mountain (25-21,25-18,25-20) on Saturday October 19 before battling North Region rival Olympic for the title. After losing 25-17,25-20, Bellevue was forced to play one game to take it all, but lost 27-25. The impressive showing nevertheless put Bellevue in the upper echelon of the NWAACC volleyball picture after beating the top-ranked team and losing the finale to the second-ranked team in the conference. Bellevue continues region play this week on Monday October 21 at Whatcom.
