On Wednesday October 30, Bellevue traveled to top-ranked Peninsula and lost 4-1 before before coming home and tying their regular season finale on Saturday November 2 vs. sixth-ranked Highline by a score of 0-0. In the 4-1 loss to Peninsula, the Bulldogs gave up momentum early as Peninsula’s Bri Afoa scored two minutes into the game. Morgan McCarty connected with Alicia Bowman to score the Bulldogs one and only goal moments after halftime to keep the Bulldogs within reach at 2-1, but surrendered two more goals in the second half. After closing the regular season with two of the top teams in the NWAACC, the Bulldogs are well-prepared for their tough battle on the road, as they travel to East #2 seed Spokane (12-1-3 in league) in a loser-out game to stay alive in the NWAACC playoffs.
