Bulldogs Volleyball Wraps Regular Season, Prepares for NWAACC Championship Tournament

The Bellevue volleyball team won in straight sets over Edmonds by scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-5 in the final regular season home game Friday, November 8. The contest was also sophomore night as Kylai Cooley, Allison Chin, Darian Foley, and Stephanie Antioquia played their last home match at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion. Cooley led the way with 14 kills followed by Chin with nine. Freshmen Sara Pulaski and Dani Smullin had 12 and eight digs on the defensive end, respectively.

Bellevue played their final match of the regular season on Tuesday, November 12, at Everett finally taking the Trojans in five sets 25-25, 24-26, 25-15,15-25,15-12. Cooley once again led the Bulldogs with 23 kills, followed by 12 from Foley and ten from freshman Roshel Muzzall. Pulaski had 22 digs, followed by Cooley’s 18, and Antioquia’s ten.

The Bulldogs now prepare for the NWAACC Volleyball Championships as they have already clinched a berth with their 11-1 league, 27-5 overall season record. The Championships are held at Mount Hood CC in Gresham, Oregon, November 21-24.
