Bulldogs Drop Tough Match to Olympic

The Bellevue Bulldogs dropped the match Friday night to Olympic College at home in four, 23-25, 25-19, 21-25 and 19-25. Outside hitter Loretta Forrest led the Bulldogs with three aces and setter Danielle Smullin with two. The Bulldogs offense was led by outside hitter Kayley Watkins with 14 kills followed by Forrest and middle blocker Kelcie Russell both with 10 and Makenna Martyn with eight. The Bulldogs as a team had 9.5 blocks led by Martyn with four and Russell with 2.5. Libero Sara Pulaski led the defense with 21 followed by Forrest with 17 and defensive specialist Kristin Hickey with 13. Smullin had 43 assists in the match. The Bulldogs face the Shoreline Dolphins next at home on Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00PM.
