Bellevue College men’s basketball traveled east of the mountains yesterday and defeated host Yakima Valley by a score of 77-60. Bellevue jumped out to a 40-27 lead at halftime and capitalized at the free throw line, outscoring the Yaks 15-3 in that department. Dominique Jordan sank 12-of-13 at the free throw line to net 21 points. He was bested by Brian Zehr who had 22 points and led BC with five rebounds. Jalen Ward added 16. The top-ranked Bulldogs take on Grays Harbor today in their final pre-season game with a 3PM tip-off at home vs. Grays Harbor.
