Bellevue College women’s golf team won the Highline League Match Showdown played at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club on Sunday April 10 and Monday April 11. The Bulldogs shot a two-day total of 513 winning by a slim three strokes over North Idaho College.
Captain Meg McMullen shot 81-83 to lead Bellevue, and finished just one stroke shy of individual medalist honors. The lone freshman on the squad that counted for scoring, Sadie Tallman, shot 91 on Sunday but bounced back with an 83 on Monday to finish sixth overall. Kendra Meeker finished tied for seventh with a 90-85.
The Bulldogs will play next at the NWAC League Match at AppleTree Golf Club in Yakima next Sunday and Monday April 17-18.
