Austin Schuler is a woodworker from Arcata, California. He has worked in residential carpentry, timber framing, production cabinetry and furniture making for the last 10 years. He earned a certificate in 2023 in fine woodworking from the Krenov School of Fine Furniture where he spent two years. He integrates sculptural elements when designing furniture pieces for everyday use. He is passionate about supporting students in accessing woodworking education. Austin’s work has been featured in Fine Woodworking Magazine, and he has exhibited furniture in a variety of galleries, most notably Grace Hudson Museum, Ukiah, California and the Messler Gallery, Rockport, Maine.
