Bellevue Dominates Edmonds, Goes to 4-0

The BCC softball team swept improved their overall record to 8-2 and their league record to a perfect 4-0 with a dominant two game sweep of Edmonds Community College on April 1. Freshman pitcher Michelle Ruby notched a win as fellow sophomore Dawn Norcross smacked a home-run to lead Bellevue to a 16-1 romp in the day’s first game. There was little change in the second game, as sophomore pitcher Christine Miller-Long led Bellevue to a 28-0 win.

The Bulldogs have yielded just two runs in their first four league games this season, but will face stiffer competition as they square off against league rival Everett Community College on April 2. Due to poor field conditions the game, originally scheduled for March 25 at Everett– will be played on the Bellevue Community College campus, adjacent to the baseball field. First pitch for the double-header is slated for 2:00pm.
