Bulldogs Top Everett, Remain Undefeated in North

The BCC softball team swept rival Everett Community College to keep an undefeated mark in Northern Region play, and extend their winning streak to nine consecutive games.

The Bulldogs dominated the series with a pair of 11-3 victories. Dawn Norcross and Rori Magera led the Bellevue offense with a pair of home runs in the opening game, while Christine Miller-Long got the win. In the nightcap it was the Michelle Ruby show, as the freshman from Liberty High School smacked a home run and also picked up the win on the mound.

With the victory, BCC improves their overall record to 10-2, and is all alone atop the Northern Region standings with a 6-0 mark in regional play. Up next, BCC will take on Olympic College at the BCC Campus Field on Saturday, April 5. The first game of the double header will get underway at 1:00pm.
